House IV
House IV is situated on a quiet street in the Academy neighborhood. It is a historical three-story home built in the early 1900’s around the time of the St. Louis World’s Fair.
The main floor consists of a foyer with an original built-in wood bench, living room, dining room with seating for six, a small breakfast bar, a half bath, and an updated kitchen.
The second floor has three bedrooms, one of which consists of a bedroom plus a sitting area. It also has a full bath.
The third floor consists of two very large bedrooms and a full bath.
The basement is quite spacious and houses a washer and dryer and plenty of storage space.
All common spaces in House IV are fully furnished - including cookware and appliances in the kitchen, television with cable in the living room, and tasteful (but fun) decor.
It’s worth mentioning that this house is located in a primarily African American neighborhood and there are a few derelict houses down the block. We know all of our neighbors and the neighborhood is not a problem, but if either of these factors is of concern, this is probably not the right house for you.
